Peter joined Jackson Teece in 2005 and has recently been promoted to Associate.
Peter is a registered architect in NSW and is based in our Newcastle office. He brings emphasis to the 'buildability' of architecture by practicing a considered method of project realisation integrated with the design subtleties inherent in each project. Responsive to clients' needs, Peter possesses abilities to cut through to what really matters on a project. His finely tuned skills in design and documentation allow him to give confidence to the decision making process at any stage of design progression. Possessing particular experience in construction documentation and construction phase services Peter applies a thorough approach from conceptual design to post-occupancy review.
Peter has over 14 years industry experience and has developed a pragmatic nature that underpins his decision making processes. Having worked on the design of many different building types he can offer practical insight on a variety of projects. While he possesses a broad cross-section of architectural experience he is particularly skilled in organising design consultant teams and interpreting building codes and regulations to inform project delivery. Coupled with these skills, Peter has a constructive, collaborative approach when dealing with the needs of clients and contractors; particularly during the construction phase.
Aside from his project work in the residential, commercial and aged-care sectors, Peter carries out regular reviews of Jackson Teece's quality documentation procedures to maintain office standards across the Sydney, Brisbane and Newcastle offices.
