John joined Jackson Teece in 2002 as a Senior Project Architect and was promoted to Director in 2007.

He has worked on a wide range of major projects in Australia and the United Kingdom at all stages from initial feasibility studies and concept design, through design development and detail documentation to monitoring site work.

John has developed particular expertise in the Aged Care, Health and Residential sectors. In the majority of his projects John has been closely involved in construction operations on site and as a result has a detailed knowledge of the practical and contractual aspects of the building process.

John has been particularly involved in elemental construction design and his work in the detailing of copper roofing of Gracechurch House, London won the 1993 Copper Development Association Award.

John sits on the Newcastle Division Committee of the Australian Institute of Architects.
