Long known as the Sydney head office for Multiplex Constructions, No 1 Kent St is a series of three interlocking heritage warehouse buildings located at the Northern-most end of Sydney's CBD, overlooking Sydney Harbour.

Jackson Teece was commissioned by the owner, Melbourne based property development company, Kamirice, to refurbish the building to create a modern commercial workplace.

Over 20 years of previous occupation, the floor plans of the warehouses had become riddled with minor alterations and additions, bathrooms, kitchenettes, offices and meeting rooms which created winding corridors and poorly located facilities. Jackson Teece consolidated the services within a new internal southern core, providing unencumbered open plan work environments within each of the distinct internal warehouse volumes. Upgraded services, lifts, lighting, mechanical and entry lobbies, all combine to create a sleek internal environment within a distinct heritage shell.

The project was managed by JK Consulting and constructed by Lend Lease Corporation.
